Claves del PPT - Padel Pro Tour

Pádel Pro Tour (PPT) nació en el año 2005 del acuerdo de Organizadores, entre otros fines con la vocación de mejorar, dignificar y colaborar con el desarrollo y crecimiento del Pádel profesional.
Mientras el pádel crece año tras año, tanto en el número de practicantes, construcción de instalaciones y venta de material deportivo, el pádel profesional ha estado, desde hace unos años, estancado en cuanto a la organización y repercusión de los eventos. Es intención del PPT crear un escenario de estabilidad que aporte reconocimiento y valor al esfuerzo del organizador y a la figura del jugador.

Entre las claves más destacadas del PPT están:

- Creación de un Circuito que garantiza el reconocimiento, el nivel, el amparo y la celebración de un mínimo de dieciocho pruebas masculinas y ocho femeninas, más la celebración de un master al final de la temporada. Se impone un máximo de pruebas que permita a los jugadores participar en otras pruebas, como Campeonatos de España, Europa o del Mundo.
El Circuito PPT tiene una garantía de celebración de al menos tres años por parte de cada uno de los organizadores, lo que implica para el jugador una continuidad de su actividad profesional.

- Dotar al Circuito de unas pruebas con un mínimo de calidad organizadora, independiente y autosuficiente, donde se garantizan, a los jugadores y jugadoras, de entre varias:

  • unas infraestructuras con un mínimo de cinco pistas, al menos una central de cristal, graderio con aforo para al menos 1.000 personas sentadas, zona comercial o village para la instalación de al menos cinco carpas, zona de descanso para los jugadores, tribuna y aparcamiento VIP, zona en el graderio reservada para jugadores, oficina de prensa, servicio médico.

  • Hotel para jugadores y jugadoras.

- Garantizar unos premios de 28.500 € en categoría masculina y de 10.000 € en categoría femenina.

- Garantizar un master con premios de 38.000 € en categoría masculina y 12.000 en categoría femenina, en el 2006.

- Sistema de retribución final por meritos deportivos y de actitud (Bonus Pool).

- Garantizar el pago, mediante avales y pagos adelantados, de las obligaciones económicas de los organizadores.

- Venta de entradas, que da un carácter diferenciador con respecto a años anteriores, dignificando al jugador y al torneo.

-  Realización de rueda de prensa previa a cada torneo.

- Producción de video o televisión durante el torneo.

- Realizar un DVD con las imágenes principales.

- Contar con la mayoría de los mejores jugadores del mundo.

- Participación de una representación de jugadores y jugadoras en la toma de decisiones, a través de los Comités Técnico y de Marketing.

- Seguro de Responsabilidad Civil obligatorio.

- Estabilidad de los derechos de plaza mediante la independencia y la posible transmisibilidad de la propiedad.

- Autoimposición y autorregulación de mejoras sostenibles en organización y comunicación mediante auditorias de calidad.

- Transparencia de todas las obligaciones y derechos de las partes a través del Libro General de Reglas.

PPT Keys

Padel Pro Tour (PPT) was started in year 2005 as the result of the agreement reached by Organizers, with, among other things, with the idea of improving, dignifying and collaborating in the development and growth of Professional Padel.

In the meantime, padel is growing year after year, both the number of players, construction of courts and the sale of sports equipment, professional padel has, since a couple of years, remained stagnant both as to the organization and the attraction. The idea of PPT is to create a stable scenario bringing a recognition for the effort and courage of the organizers and of the player.

PPT’s major keys are:

- Creating a Circuit which would guarantee the recognition, the level, the protection and having a minimum of eighteen events for men and eight for the ladies, plus a Master at the end of the season. There shall be a maximum of contests which allows the players to participate in other events such as Spanish, European and World championships.

- The PPT Circuit has received a guarantee from each organizer that they will have these contests for at least three years which grants the players the continuity of their professional activity. The agreement between PPT and AJPP will last until the 2012 th.

- Endow the Circuit with contests that have a minimum of quality in their organization, independent and self-sufficient, where the players, both men and ladies, would be guaranteed, among other things:

  • infrastructures with a minimum of 5 courts, with at least one main court of glass, with at least 1,000 seats, commercial zone or village allowing the installation of at least five marquees, lounge area for the players, tribune and parking for VIP’s, a zone of the stands reserved for the players, press and medical service.

  • hotel for the players, men and ladies.

- Guarantee prizes of 31.000 Euros for the men´s category and 14.,600 for the ladies´.

- Guarantee a Master with prizes of 42.000 Euros for the men´s category and 15.500 for the ladies, in 2009.

- A final rewarding system based on sport merits and attitude (bonus pool).

- Guarantee payment of the organizers economical commitments through endorsement or advance payments.

- Sale of entrance tickets giving a differentiating character as compared to previous years, dignifying the player and the tournament.

- Organizing a press conference prior to each tournament.

- Production of Video or Television during the tournament.

- Produce a DVD with the main pictures.

- Make sure we can count with the best players in the world.

- Participation of representatives for the players (men and ladies) in decision making through the Technical and Discipline Committees.

- Compulsory responsibility insurance.

- Stability of the property tights by means of independence and the possibility to transmit the ownership.

- Self-imposition and self-regulation of sustainable improvements and communication by qualified auditors.

- Transparency of all the obligations and rights by means of the General Book of Rules.
